Now that I have SQL Server installed (https://almrocks.com/?p=200) the next step is to install SharePoint 2013. I’ve opted to go with the full version instead of Foundation, so that I can have the multiple dashboards that are available with Team Web Access.
First up, installing the pre-requisites. Make sure the machine you are installing on has Internet access.

I rebooted the machine. The installation auto-continued.

Rebooted again. Now it is time to actually install SharePoint.

After the installation is complete, run the configuration wizard.
